Rain sweeping across the Isles on Tuesday, leaving the mainland with sunny spells and the odd shower. On Wednesday, variable cloud, sunny breaks, and some heavy showers about, these merging into longer spells of rain in places. A similar day expected on Thursday, though the Isles look to turn drier later on, and it may be a breezier day.
