Tomorrow will see a cloudy day for all with spells of rain continuing, these heavy at times for the mainland and Orkney. A risk of some lightning too on the mainland in the afternoon.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday

Overcast on Wednesday with spells of rain on the mainland, however drier on the Isles with some sunny spells. Becoming windy on Wednesday night and through Thursday, with rain easing leaving it dry with sunny spells. Friday will see rain sink in across the Isles, reaching the mainland into the evening, but with sunshine on the mainland before this.
