Spells of sunshine and cloudy intervals on the mainland today. Patchy cloud with the odd shower around midday for the Isles then drier, with sunshine developing in the afternoon.

Tonight

Patchy cloud, clear spells, and an isolated shower or two on the Isles tonight. Turning mostly cloudy on the mainland with spells of rain moving up from the south during the early hours.

Monday

The mainland will be overcast tomorrow with outbreaks of rain throughout much of the day. Sunny at first for the Isles but becoming cloudy in the afternoon with a few showers.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday

Tuesday looks to be very unsettled with outbreaks of showery rain pushing in from the south. Overcast on Wednesday with spells of showery rain, these possibly heavy to the south-east by the evening. Becoming windy on Wednesday night and through Thursday, with rain easing to scattered showers on Thursday. Sunny spells developing by Thursday afternoon.
