Man, 81, dies after three-vehicle crash

A man in his 80s has died and a woman has been left injured after a three-vehicle collision.

Emergency services were called at about 10:30 BST on 12 June to the crash which had happened on the A387 at East Looe.

The collision involved a blue Volvo V70, a Toyota Estima and a Kia Rio. The Volvo driver, an 81-year-old man from the Looe area, was pronounced dead at the scene, with his next of kin informed.

The road was closed for several hours while police conducted an investigation of the scene.

Officers have asked for anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information, to contact Devon and Cornwall police.
