Man and boy critically hurt in house fire

A man and a 13-year-old boy are in a critical condition in hospital after a house fire.

The 19 year-old and the boy were seriously hurt in the blaze on Redcar Road, Blackpool, shortly before 09:30 BST on Tuesday, Lancashire Police said.

A woman in her 40s, a man in his 20s and a teenage boy also suffered minor injuries in the fire.

The cause of the fire is not yet known, but police urged people not to speculate, adding that the investigation was in the "early stages".
