Jogger grabbed by e-scooter rider in park
GoogleA woman jogging through a park in Derby was grabbed by a man on an e-scooter, police have said.
The runner was in King George V Playing Fields in Littleover at about 06:30 BST on Saturday, when a man grabbed her arm and pulled her towards him in an incident Derbyshire Police is treating as a sexual offence.
The woman managed to escape and left the park, a spokesperson for the force added.
Sgt Neil Dutton, of the Littleover, Mickleover and Sunnyhill beat team, said patrols had been stepped up and asked for anyone with information to make contact.
He said the suspect was described as a stocky Asian man, about 5ft 6in, with brown eyes and a black moustache and chin stubble.
He was wearing a black raincoat, white hoodie with the hood up, black tracksuit bottoms and a black over-the-shoulder bag, and was riding a black e-scooter with grey handlebars and a bell attached.
