A driver has been seriously injured in a car crash.

Police were called to the A509 near Little Harrowden in Northamptonshire to reports of a collision involving a single vehicle at 14:00 BST.

The driver of a blue Vauxhall Vivaro - a man in his 40s - suffered serious injuries, police said, and was taken to hospital.

Northamptonshire Police appealed for witnesses and dashcam footage, and said officers from the serious collision investigation unit were investigating.
