Six candidates will be standing in the general election for the Onchan constituency.

The second largest populated constituency on the Isle of Man, Onchan borders Douglas North and Douglas South and the rural parishes in Garff.

Part of the divide between the constituency and the capital runs along the TT course from Signpost to Governors.

Government House, the official residence of the lieutenant governor, who is the King's representative on the island, sits just inside that dividing line.

A popular attraction within the village is Onchan Pleasure Park, which features a boating lake and a large play park, as well as a raceway that hosts stock car racing each week.

Formerly a three-seat constituency, the boundary revisions of 2016 saw part of Howstrake moved to within neighbouring Garff.

The constituency had a population of 6,624, according to Electoral Commission figures from 2023. As of October 2025, 5,069 people were registered to vote.
