Firefighters tackle wildfire with off-road vehicles

Firefighters have been tackling a blaze that has spread across about three hectares of heathland and woodland overnight.

Crews were called to the fire off Hammer Lane, Headley, near Bordon in East Hampshire, on Monday evening.

Firefighters have been working to put out the fire overnight using specialist wildfire vehicles, 4x4s and a water carrier along with beaters and hose reels.

The fire service advised those in the surrounding area to keep their windows and doors closed due to smoke overnight.
