City centre music festival returns for fourth year
City of Lincoln CouncilA two-day city centre live music festival is returning for its fourth year.
Lincoln Live will include upcoming local talent and artists from across the UK over the weekend of 5 and 6 September.
The main stage will be in City Square and the unplugged stage in St Paul in the Bail, with headline performances by The Rills and The Publics.
The acts on the main stage are being organised by BBC Music Introducing.
Joshua Wells, portfolio holder for inclusive economic growth at Lincoln City Council, said: "Lincoln Live has become a fantastic showcase for live music in our city, bringing together incredible emerging talent with well-known headline acts in a welcoming and accessible environment.
"Best of all, the festival is completely free to attend, making it a great weekend out for residents, students who have returned to university and want to catch up with their friends before the term starts, and visitors alike, while supporting our city centre businesses."
The main stage in City Square will be open from 12:00 to 19:00 BST on Saturday 5 September, and from 12:00 to 17:00 on Sunday 6 September.
The unplugged stage at St Paul in the Bail will run from 11:00 to 16:00 on both days.
