A Staffordshire radio presenter has been charged following a police investigation into a historical rape allegation in Stafford.

Stuart Michael Haycock, 48 and from the town, is accused of the rape of a woman during the 2010s.

Haycock is a well-known voice on various local commercial and community radio stations in the county.

He is due to appear at Cannock Magistrates' Court on 29 July.
