Two drivers have been arrested after a motorcyclist was killed in a four-vehicle crash near Hook, Hampshire.

The crash on the A287 Farnham Road near Crondall, involved two Harley Davidson motorbikes, a BMW X3 and an LDV Maxus campervan shortly after 19:40 BST on Saturday.

Hampshire Police said a motorcyclist in his 50s from Thames Ditton, Surrey, died at the scene. The second, a man in his 30s from Farnham, is in hospital with serious injuries.

The BMW driver was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless/inconsiderate driving and drug driving. The driver of the campervan was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and causing death by dangerous driving.

The force said both drivers had since been released under investigation, pending further inquiries.

Hampshire police said the campervan was understood to have been travelling westbound, with the two motorbikes and the BMW car was travelling eastbound when the crash happened.

Police want to speak to any witnesses and anyone with relevant dash cam footage of any of the vehicles involved - including before they were involved in the collision.
