Tribute to man who died in motorbike crash
North Yorkshire PoliceA motorbike rider who died after a crash in North Yorkshire has been described by his family as "a much loved son, brother, uncle, partner, stepdad and proud new daddy".
Christopher Wilson, from Kellington, was riding his black Honda bike on the A19 just north of Chapel Haddlesey at about 14:00 BST on 19 June when he was involved in a collision with a red Vauxhall Corsa and died later in hospital, police said.
A tribute by the 34-year-old's family said he was the "life and soul of the party" and had "recently welcomed his beautiful baby girl into the world".
Police previously said the driver of the car, an 18-year-old man, had since been helping officers with their inquiries.
The family's statement also described Wilson as his mother's "blue-eyed boy", who had a "cheeky smile and dimples" and a warmth that "lit up every room he entered".
He was a keen Leeds United fan and enjoyed travelling, fishing and go-karts, the family said.
"Christopher's kindness, laughter and love will never be forgotten. He leaves behind a family and many friends who will carry his memory with them always," they added.
"Ride off into the sunset, Christopher, until we meet again. Forever loved, forever missed."
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson previously said officers were keen to speak to the driver of a red Seat Ibiza which was believed to have been behind the Corsa, as they might have "vital information" about what had happened.
