Murder arrests after man found dead in property
BBCFour men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after another man was found dead.
Devon and Cornwall Police said officers found the victim, believed to be a man in his 50s, inside a property on Baytree Hill in Liskeard at about 21:30 BST on Sunday.
It said a local man in his 30s was arrested at the scene and further investigations led to the arrests of two other local men in their 40s and 50s, and a man in his 20s from Plymouth. All remained in custody, it added.
The force added formal identification of the victim was yet to take place and anyone with information should contact police.
Det Insp Pete Gee, from Devon and Cornwall Police, said residents in Liskeard would see an increased police presence around the town as investigations continued.
"We appreciate incidents such as this cause great concern within the community. However, we do not believe there is any wider threat to the community at this time," Gee said.
