A third teenager has been charged with murder after a fatal stabbing at a Northampton skate park.

Mason Miller, 20, died after he was stabbed in the chest during an altercation at Briar Hill Skate Park in Ringway at about 15:30 GMT on 18 February. A 17-year-old boy suffered life-threatening injuries.

Northamptonshire Police said a 17-year-old, who cannot be named due to his age, appeared at Northampton Magistrates' Court on Tuesday. He was remanded in custody ahead of a further hearing on Wednesday at Northampton Crown Court.

Two 16-year-olds were previously charged with murder and attempted murder and remanded in custody ahead of a trial later this year.
