Two arrested after stabbing at large rave in field

Two 22-year-old men have been arrested after a man was stabbed at an outdoor rave attended by hundreds of people.

Police said they were called to an illegal rave in a field on Dry Drayton Hill between Dry Drayton and Madingley, near Cambridge, in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Cambridgeshire Police estimated more than 400 people were there and said armed officers were deployed to find the suspects.

A man in his 20s was taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

Officers said the arrested men were both from London.

One was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm, robbery and breach of a court order.

The other was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm, and robbery.

The force had said it would maintain a presence at the scene for most of Sunday.
