Man arrested over assault with glass bottle
GoogleA man has been arrested after another man was assaulted with a glass bottle in Derby.
Derbyshire Police said it was called to Abbey Street at about 20:20 BST on Tuesday.
The force said the victim - a man in his 30s - was taken to hospital after being assaulted by another man, but later added he did not suffer any serious injuries.
A 30-year-old man was arrested in the early hours on Wednesday on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, and remains in police custody.
Officers said they were keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the incident as well as anyone who was driving and has dashcam footage.
The force added it was "particularly keen" to hear from a man who was stood close to the victim when the incident occurred and may have information which could help their inquiries.
