Two women arrested over boy's window fall
PA MediaTwo women have been arrested after a three-year-old boy was seriously injured in a fall from a window in Rochdale.
The women, aged 19 and 20, were arrested at a property in Blackburn on Sunday on suspicion of causing a serious injury to a child, Greater Manchester Police said.
Officers had been called to Spotland Tops at 16:16 BST on Saturday following reports of concern for the welfare of a child.
Emergency services attended and the boy was taken to hospital for treatment, where he remains in a critical condition.
Police had earlier said the boy had been seriously injured in a fall from a window.
The force said the two women were arrested in relation to the incident and inquiries were continuing to establish the full circumstances of what happened.
