Motorist arrested after near-miss with police car

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after she narrowly avoided crashing into a police car in Grimsby.

Officers witnessed a vehicle "driving erratically" at about 03:40 BST on Friday while they were on a routine patrol in Cleethorpes Road, Humberside Police said.

The 60-year-old woman was found to be almost three times the legal drink-drive limit after she almost hit the rear of the police car.

She was taken into police custody.
