Temporary memorial put up to remember teen
Kirsty KnightA temporary memorial has been installed to remember a 16-year-old boy who died after being stabbed in Peterborough.
Baye Bireme Fall, from the city, was attacked in Riseholme near the Ortongate Shopping Centre just before 19:00 BST on 12 April.
The original floral tribute and candles, placed outside, were removed due to fire safety concerns during the dry weather. Kirsty Knight, Conservative councillor for Orton Waterville, replaced it with a wooden memorial last week.
"The wishing well is only temporary, and when the time feels right, the family can take it home and place it in their own garden," Knight said.

"I temporarily removed the memorial for a few days while I made the area safer. I have since personally bought a small wooden wishing well and asked Baye's family and friends not to use candles."
She said friends and family of Baye, or BB as he was locally known, "loved it" and have said "thank you" for the effort.

Following BB's death, a peace event was held in his memory, with hundreds of people coming together to pay tribute and call for an end to knife violence.
A translator speaking on behalf of the BB's father, Khalifa Fall, said: "His appeal to all Baye's friends is to learn from what has happened to him", adding that no parent should have to bury a child.
"Be more responsible, listen to your parents more, be more vigilant. If any of you carry any weapon - please put it down."
Friends described Baye as "lovely, kind and helpful", adding that he aspired to be a lawyer.
